Kotao is intentionally broader than a classic POS, payment, or storefront system. These comparisons show where specialists are strong and where one operating system removes breaks between teams.

Start with workflow fit

Do not compare feature checklists in isolation. Check whether POS, PMS, CRM, payments, inventory, and websites can run through one real operating day.

Price the full stack

Plan fees, app fees, processing, hardware, implementation, and support belong in the same model. Otherwise a tool can look cheaper than it operates.

Check the data model

The biggest difference is often invisible: customers, products, bookings, payments, and teams should work from one shared record.
